Villages1.com started back in 2008-2009, by two Villagers who intended to build a site FOR VILLAGERS, BY VILLAGERS. It was originally meant to be a gathering place for all sorts of Villages information. Over time, the original platform that the site was built on has become obsolete and with the onslaught of hackers and bots and all manner of challenges, it was decided to revamp in Oct of 2021. AND THEN CAME COVID. As this is a new platform, and we are starting from the beginning, on an entirely new platform, there will be a learning curve. The intention today is to simply promote and highlight local businesses, especially those without an online presence, offering access to an offshoot of Villages1, The Villagers Service Directory… adding features as we go.
